I have been teaching people how to handle and ride horses for many years. I have over thirty-five years of professional and private experience with thoroughbreds, Arabians, Morgans and Quarter horses, including starting many under saddle. My experience includes 18 years working on major USA racetracks and 5 years as horse hauler with a 12-horse van, 48 states. I take the time to provide excellent grooming and care to the horses I train, and am skilled at caring for wounds and doing legwork. I enjoy starting and conditioning horses, straightening out minor problems and coaching owners/riders. All horses I start are trained to load into a straight load trailer, then a slant load. Training includes conditioning out on the trails and opening and closing gates. I work full time as a Marriage Family Therapist Intern and incorporate equine facilitated psychotherapy into my work. My clients say I am responsible, reliable, easy to work with, and a good communicator.
